The original Mars bar had a different nougat and had more almonds. For whatever reason, a couple years ago they reappeared for a short while in certain stores and I bought an entire box of them, but they've since disappeared again.

I have loved Mars Bars for many years and Snickers Almond Bars may be the identical formula but they don't exactly taste like Mars Bars as I recall that they had more almonds...
