Unfortunately the entire box seems to have had heat damage
Unfortunately the entire box seems to have had heat damage. The taffy was completely adhered to the cardboard holder and is inedible. It’s my favorite childhood candy and sadly I can not enjoy it. I did try to refrigerate and even freeze them with no luck.

The East Coast has been plagued with excessively hot temperatures, which makes shipping even the most durable candies a challenge. The good news is that we offer Onward Package Protection, and if you choose this, we can help you file a claim for a refund. I'm 83 and it is just as I remember from years ago
There is nothinh we like more than stories about candies that are passed down from generation to generation. As the oldest wholesaler in the nation, we have been selling many of these candies long before they were designated 'retro.' and memories like yours bring back memories of the Golden Age of candy!
